Hometown: Fredericton, New Brunswick

·      Led Team Canada to a gold medal at the 2008 Under-18 IIHF World Championship leading all goaltenders with a .948 save percentage, 1.43 goals-against average and two shutouts in seven games. Was named the best goaltender of the tournament and to the tournament All-Star team.

 

·      Finished second among QMJHL rookie goaltenders with a .901 save-percentage in 2007-08 with St. John's.

 

·      Was a member of Team New Brunswick at the 2007 Canada Winter Games – also represented Team New Brunswick for golf in 2005

 

·      Played his minor hockey with the Fredericton Canadiens and patterns his game after Martin Brodeur "because of his athleticism and puck handling ability".

 

·      Was the club champion at the Kingswood Golf and Country club in 2006-07 and has a golf handicap of zero.
