Center. Shoots Right. 5'10", 174 lbs. Born: Regina, Saskatchewan, May 15, 1990.
Hometown: Calgary, Alberta

·        Ranked fifth overall in WHL scoring with 42 goals and tied for second overall with nine game-winning goals – his 42 goals accounted for 19% of the goals Regina scored this season.

·        Selected to the 2008 Eastern Conference First All-Star Team and was selected as the WHL Player of the Month for October after totaling 22 points (14-8-22) in 13 games for the Pats.

·        Named Regina Pats' Scholastic Player of the Year in 2008.

·        Won gold with Team Canada at the 2008 IIHF Under-18 World Championships, finishing second on the team with 10 points (4-6-10).

·        Represented Team Canada at the 2007 Under-18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial tournament and played on a line with Sarnia's Steven Stamkos – "We played on a line together in peewee for a pickup team at a tournament in Boston, and we did pretty well. And all three of us (including linemate James Wright of the WHL's Vancouver Giants) put up some pretty good points with our CHL teams, and together, I think we (are) a pretty good line."

·        Represented Team Alberta at the 2007 Canada Winter Games, scoring six goals and five assists (6-5-11) in five games leading his team to a bronze medal.

·        Played for the Calgary Buffaloes in 2005-06, helping his team win the Alberta Midget AAA Provincial championship and led them to the Telus Cup Final losing out to the Prince Albert Mintos in triple overtime – Eberle was awarded the Most Sportsmanlike Award for the tournament.

·        Played for Notre Dame in Wilcox, Saskatchewan in 2004-05 and his cousin, Derek Eberle, played three seasons for the Regina Pats – 1990 to 1993.

·        Scored 216 goals in 60 games with Hockey Regina in Novice Tier 1 – "It was my third year (of Novice). Back then you played to have fun and you still play to have fun, but back then it was a lot easier, you could just score at will. I was pretty lucky to play on a pretty good team, and I think we won the Cities that year, and I had a pretty good year myself."

·        Credits his dad for having the most influence on his career – "he coached me throughout my minor hockey and taught me a lot about the game".

·        His nickname is "Ebs" and he wears number 27 because his favorite number, seven, was already taken in Regina.

·        If he could invite any three people to dinner he would choose: Wayne Gretzky, Sidney Crosby and Tiger Woods.

·        His most embarrassing hockey moment was going out for warm-ups of a final tournament game in Pee Wee with his skate guards on.
